We are descendents of everyday television:We are actors, directors and writers in the television industry. Not big names, just working-class role players who are better recognized for the one TV episode that made you a fan, or the commercial afterwards that made you laugh. We are also executives of the television advertising industry. Not the head honchos, just the suits behind the guy, who’s behind the guy that work tirelessly to properly showcase the products and services you purchase everyday.
While some may believe we have thankless jobs, collectively we create an entertainment system of checks and balances that allow you, the general public, to have many options in choosing your entertainment source. Want examples? You ever taken a cat nap during the SuperBowl, but enjoyed one of the commercials? Sure you have because commercials sometimes make the main event worth watching when the event itself isn’t. Music in commercials sometimes grab your attention when the visuals don’t. And at times the visuals in commercials capture just enough of your attention to get you in trouble with your spouse.
Well, we’re the faces in those commercials as well as the work-force behind the scenes. And it’s time you know who we are.
